GasIQ has several variants of cutting nozzles for different applications. The most important functions of the nozzle are to control the heat flame and the cutting oxygen flame. The nozzle geometry determines the nozzle properties. It is therefore important that cleaning needles are used with the utmost care not to change the geometry.

GasIQ has two main types of cutting nozzles, flat sealing and 3-cone sealed. The flat sealed type is used for injector burners (D75 and N76), while the 3-cone sealed type is used for S80.

Each nozzle is pre-lit before delivery, partly to check the flame's shape and appearance, and partly to check the density.
